ANTIHERPES SIMPLE TINCTURE
Cat's claw, Gotu kola, Hamamelis, Macela, Yarrow, Oregano and Thyme extracts.
Antiinflammatory, antimicrobial and astringent, promotes drying, ailment regression and lesion healing.
Composition (1 lt)
Gotu kola (Centella asiatica) aerial parts, 25 gm
Yarrow (Achillea millefolium) aerial parts, 20 gm
Hamamelis (Hamamelis virginiana) aerial parts, 20 gm
Macela (Achyrocline satureoides) flowers, 20 gm
Oregano (Origanum vulgare) leaves, 20 gm
Thyme (Thymus vulgaris) leaves, 20 gm
Cat’s claw (Uncaria tomentosa) root, 10 gm
Alcohol 96°

Extracts manufacture
Oregano, Thyme and Cat's claw extracts in an alcoholic vehicle (industrial alcohol 96°). In a with wide opening glass container (500 ml. capacity) put 20 gm. dried oregano, 20 gm. dried thyme and 10 gm. of cat's claw ground dry root. Fill in with alcohol 96ยบ and airtight cover. Keep for 30 days, with gentle shaking every 2 to 3 days. Filter and bottle, discard the plants.
Yarrow, 25 gm. and Macela 20 gm. extracts same as above, but with 96° alcohol and water in equal amounts (50 and 50), in a 250 ml wide openning glass container.
Hamamelis and Gotu kola extracts. Boil 500 ml. of drinking water, turn down heat and simmer for 20 minutes, 20 gm. and 15 gm. of Hamamelis and Gotu kola. Turn heat off and let it stand for 30 to 45 minutes. Filter and bottle.
Tincture manufacture
Mix extracts, adding them in the following percentages, 50% of Oregano, Thyme and Cat's claw, 30% of Yarrow and Macela and 20% of Hamamelis and Gotu kola. Bottle the final mixture in small vials. Identify each vial with name and date.
Use
Apply on the affected area several times a day. Its use since the onset of clinical symptoms allows faster and better results. It is also effective on not very deep wounds and in not very important infectious processes.
Its effectiveness is maintained for more than a year after manufacture date.
